Let me start by saying this loud and clear: There is NOTHING wrong with you.
We all have moments where we feel like we’re supposed to have it all together. But here’s the thing—confidence isn’t about pretending you’ve got it all figured out. It’s about knowing you don’t—and being okay with that.
How many times have you held back from asking a question because you didn’t want to look “stupid”? How often have you stayed silent, worried about what others might think?
For years, I carried this belief like a backpack full of bricks:
- If I admit I don’t know, they’ll think I’m not good enough.
- If I ask for help, it’ll make me look weak.
- If I don’t have all the answers, who will trust me?
Sound familiar? Here’s the truth I’ve learned: No one has all the answers. Not me, not you, not even the so-called “experts.”
We live in a world that rewards certainty. We’re expected to have it all figured out, all the time. And when we don’t, we start beating ourselves up.
But let me ask you this:
What if true confidence isn’t about knowing?
What if it’s about learning?
Real confidence comes from asking the question.
Taking the step.
Opening yourself up to growth.
Just this week, I made mistakes. Real ones. The kind I used to be terrified of:
- I messed up in a meeting and had to own it.
- I asked a friend for advice on something I thought I “should” already know.
- I admitted I needed help when I hit a wall.
And you know what happened?
Not only did it feel good—it made me stronger.
Here’s the truth: You don’t need to know everything to be confident.
You just need the courage to ask.
So this week, I want you to try something radical: Give yourself permission not to know.
Ask the question.
Learn something new.
Let yourself be a beginner.
Because confidence isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about trusting that you’re enough—right now, just as you are.
So take the leap.
Ask the question.
Grow into the person you’re becoming.
You’ve got this.
